The Assessment Report of the National Integrity System for Albania was finalized in November 2023 and was conducted by the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) as part of Transparency International’s project “EU4 Rule of Law: Citizen Engagement for Public Integrity (CEPI) in the Western Balkans and Turkey.”

The report aims to assess the institutional framework by focusing on the levels of good governance, transparency, and accountability. This marks the first such assessment of Albania since 2016.

The report evaluates the progress of ongoing reforms for the consolidation of institutions and emphasizes the need for further measures to strengthen the national integrity system. The full document in Albanian is available on IDM’s official website.
