The chart above shows the total financing all three categories together: Support for Political Parties, Support for National Organizations, and Support for Veterans of war organizations, as well Support for Political Parties alone. Funds allocated for Political Parties make up the majority of the total financing, approximately 95% of the total financing for all three categories.
From 2003 to 2004 Financing for Political Parties grew by 4%, whereas in 2005 it remained steady at 194 million leke. 2006 marked a slight decrease by about 2 million leke, and this level was maintained for the following three years. In 2010 funds for the Political Parties increased by about 3.6% reaching 199 million leke, and in 2011 the forecast is for 200 million leke. The upward trend is easily noticeable.
After 2009, there has been an increase of the support for National Organizations, whereas financing for the Organization of veterens of war has remained unchanged at 3 million leke.

In 2010, financing for the National Organizations doubled compared to the previous year, and the forecast for 2011 is for another increase of 20%, thereby reaching 12 million leke.

Data on Political Parties for 2003 is missing. Open Data Albania has estimated it based on the fact that financing for Political Parties is about 95% of the overall financing for all categories.
