Non-public institutions of the pre-university system by the form of approval. The academic year 2011-2012.

In the Republic of Albania the non-public institutions of  the pre-university  system operate  based on the Council of  Ministers Decision  or  Ministry of Education and Science Order. Also a part of the institutions are licensed  by the National Licensing Center.

Open Data Albania has conducted a research on the education institutions by their form of approval. In the total number of 580 non-public institutions of the pre-university system, are also involved 35 institutions which have not yet  received an approval in the prescribed form. These institutions lie in the districts of Tiranë, Fier, Durrës,Elbasan, Vlorë ect.

About 8:44% of the non-public institutions of the pre-university system have an  approval and operate based on the Council of Ministers Decision.These are mainly religious schools. According to the Open Data Albania,  87.34% of the  institutions have an approval and operate based on  the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science. There are  4.22% of the non-public institutions of the pre-university system that operate based on the license of the National Licensing Center.These are mainly professional institutions.
