Expenditures of the Municipality and Municipal Units of Tirana, 2012-2013

Open Data Albania is exploring on actual budget expenditures incurred by every municipal unit and from the Municipality of Tirana in 2012 and 2013. This budget has to do with the value of each transaction that is ordered and executed by the institution through the state treasury. The research article is conducted through Treasure Transactions Monitoring, a process made possible by the platform Spending Data Albania.

Municipality of Tirana in 2012 has spent 2,086 billion ALL during the year, while in 2013 it has spent 3,139 billion ALL. The value of the annual growth of the budget spent for 2013 versus 2012 is 50.48%. While eleven municipal units of Tirana have spent in total in 2013 the amount of 2.3 billion ALL, marking an increase of the annual budgetary value compared to 2012 with 35%.

Tirana Municipality occupies 58% of expenditures made in total from the municipality and the units of Tirana during 2013. The Municipal Unit that has incurred the largest expenditures during these two years, was Municipal Unit No. 11. The municipal unit has spent 227,836,650 ALL in 2012 and 333,503,526 ALL in 2013. During year 2013 the Actual Budget of the Municipal Unit No.11 occupied 6% of the total. The Municipal Unit with the lowest expenditures during this time frame has been Municipal Unit No.10, which during 2013 spent only 2% of the total.
