Open Data Albania is updating data on financial entities that are licensed by the Supervision Unit of Gambling in August 2015. This institution provides not only licenses, but it also supervises and controls the activities of entities dealing with gambling organization in the whole territory of the Republic of Albania.
In August 2015, a total of twenty-two entities were licensed by the Supervisory Unit, namely a National lottery, a television bingo, one casino, ten electronic casinos, five entities licensed as sportive bets and four traditional bingos.

The company with the highest capital is the National Lottery with an established initial capital of ALL 1.2 billion. The legal status of this company is a limited liability company LLC and the rest of the companies licensed by the Supervision Unit are shareholder (anonymous) companies AC.
As it is already observed during this year compared with a year ago, InterBet Company AC is not included in the list of the entities licensed by the Supervision Unit of Gambling while it has an active status at the National Registration Center. The capital of Imperial Casino SH.B Company has been increased to ALL 51 million out of ALL 79 million.
Mark Frroku, the shareholder of Xhoi Co 21 Company has sold his shares to his co-shareholder, Amiran Dzanashvili, who already owns 80% of shares out of 50% of shares he owned a year earlier. The capital of Lloto Sport Company has also declined to ALL 49.82 million out of ALL 59.73 million in 2014 and this company has now three shareholders out of four shareholders it previously had.

Overall capital of the licensed gambling companies is All 2.92 billion. In 2014 two female shareholders owned shares of Traditional Bingo Madrid Bingo, but now only one female shareholder owns 100% of the shares of this company with a capital of ALL 38.35 million.
