Annual Profit, Commercal Banks 2012-2014

Open Data Albania is carrying out investigations on Commercial Banks in terms of Pretax Anual Profit. The data are extracted from the tables of the accounting statements submitted to the National Registration Centre, NRC, by the Bank companies. This database contains information about sixteen entities. The total of pretax profit in 2014 amounted to ALL 14,885,933,591. Whereas in 2013 the pretax profit run at ALL 11,681,829,267.

Three commercial banks did not record positive values in terms of profits in 2014. Banks that have declared a financial year with losses are Tirana Bank, Veneto Bank and Credit Agricole Bank Albania. The latter resulted with losses for three consecutive years.

In the period from 1 January 2014 up to 30 September 2015, the capital of only three bank companies increased.

The report of annual turnover versus annual profit is also an interesting element. But banks like Intesa San Paolo Bank and Raiffeisen  have the most significant values.

The bank that recorded the highest profits in 2014 was BKT with ALL 052 764 585. BKT has increased its profits by 1.8 times compared to 2013. The second bank with the highest profits in 2014 was  Raiffeisen Bank with ALL 5 514 537 000.
