{"id":23872,"date":"2025-03-13T17:25:40","date_gmt":"2025-03-13T17:25:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ndiqparate.al\/?p=23872"},"modified":"2026-05-25T22:05:53","modified_gmt":"2026-05-25T22:05:53","slug":"applications-open-for-internship-and-training-through-open-data-4th-edition-april-october-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ndiqparate.al\/?p=23872&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Applications Open for Internship and Training through Open Data, 4th Edition (April \u2013 October 2025)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>OpenDataFellowship \u2013 Youth Empowerment Against Corruption 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AIS, the organization promoting Open Data Albania, invites students and activists who wish to participate in an Internship and Training Program on Open Data usage to apply for the OpenDataFellowship \u2013 Youth Empowerment Against Corruption 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The internship is open to university students from the fields of Economics, Journalism, Law, and Social Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, we welcome non-student youth who are members or staff of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and are interested in data-based advocacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the internship, participants will attend info sessions on using data and databases for research, analysis, advocacy planning, investigations, and reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program is divided into two main parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"I\"><li>Public Access and Use of Data (Economic and Statistical Data)<\/li><li>Methods for Tracking and Preventing Corruption<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful participants will benefit from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Certificate of Participation in the Open Data Fellowship Program<\/li><li>Skills Development in Economic Analysis<\/li><li>University Internship Certification (in agreement with university departments)<\/li><li>Opportunities for research and article publication on OpenDataAlbania\u2019s website (data.al)<\/li><li>Possibility of part-time employment with the AIS team for a period of 3 to 6 months<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>About the Program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will be introduced to research methodologies, legal frameworks, access instruments, and analysis tools for various data categories, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Public Expenditures \u2013 Payments from Budgetary Institutions<\/li><li>State Budget \u2013 Allocations for Executive and Local Government<\/li><li>Public Procurement \u2013 Official and Alternative Databases<\/li><li>Procurement Process Stages \u2013 Risk Assessment, Integrity of Public Contractors, and European Integration Issues related to Procurement<\/li><li>Business Registry and Beneficial Ownership Registry<\/li><li>Asset Declarations of High-Ranking Officials<\/li><li>Political Finance and Electoral Records<\/li><li>Public Registers for Access to Information<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These topics will be explored through practical exercises to enhance participants&#8217;
