GDP includes all current products and services destined for the market as well as those produced for own consumption by all resident units operating in the territory of a state.<p><\/p>\n<p>GDP measured at current prices is called Nominal GDP, while GDP measured by fixing the prices of a given year is called GDP at constant prices (base). Given that GDP at constant prices eliminates the effect of inflation, the growth of this indicator is a more accurate indicator of real growth of an economy.<\/p>\n<p>Open Data Albania has conducted a research on the change of GDP in 2010 (updated the third quarter), based on data from Institute of Statistic (INSTAT). GDP is measured at constant prices of 2005.<\/p>\n<p>In the third quarter of 2010, the economy grew by 4.94% versus the third quarter of 2009. In this quarter the industries that have the highest growth compared to the third quarter of 2009 were: industry (18%), transport (12.9%), other services (12%), trade (8.1%) and agriculture (7.6%).
