The county with the highest number of enterprises in 2010 results to be Tirana with 38,361 enterprises, which constitute 38% of the total of 100.687 enterprises in overall counties. Characteristic of this county is the low rate of market entry of new enterprises, ranking the last out of 13 counties, with a coefficient of enterprise birth rate of 12.1% in 2009.
