The university is composed of five faculties such as Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Public Health and the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences. This university has been part of the University of Tirana, but this academic year it became an independent university. Fees for the first cycle of studies belong to students entering the first year of study. The data obtained are from the academic year 2012\/2013 and the academic year 2013\/2014. These three faculties do not offer part-time studies. The other two faculties offer studies for the first and second cycle.<p><\/p>\n<p>Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry offer second cycle integrated degree, Master of Science in Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry. Integrated programs of the second cycle consist of no less than 300 credits and their normal duration is not less than five academic years. The Faculty of Pharmacy and Dentistry has the highest tuitions, respectively 35.388 ALL \/ year, while the Faculty of Medicine has the lowest tuition of 29.888 ALL\/ year. <\/p>\n<p>Regarding tuitions in the other two faculties, they offer first and second cycle studies as full time as well as part-time. The higher tuition for the first cycle of studies is the one of the Faculty of Public Health 35.883 ALL \/ year, while the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences has tuition of 29.888 ALL \/ year. Compared with a year ago these tuitions have increased with 4%. Tuitions for professional master are the same for both faculties, this tuition is 93.600 ALL. Also, the tuitions are the same for the Master of Science at both universities, the tuitions is 181.709 ALL. Compared with a year ago these fees have increased by 4% too. These tuitions for the past year were 59.520 ALL \/ year, whether it was the first faculty to the student and 97.320 ALL \/ year if it was second faculty. Masters tuitions for the current year are 74.880 ALL, which compared with a year ago, have increased by 10%.
