The indicators are based on data obtained from the National Registration Center (NRC) and the research is carried out based on the official historical extracts of June 2014. From the historical extracts of these registered companies, it results that in the Industry sector there are operating 171 joint-stock companies or 13.4% of the all registered companies, or 16.5% of the companies for which there are registered data in the NRC. Based on the specific weight of the number of companies that this sector has, it is listed as the second biggest sector after Services.<p><\/p>\n<p>Also, based on the share capital, the industry sector results to be the second one because of its specific weights within the total capital of registered joint-stock companies.
