Indicators are based on data obtained from historical extracts of JSC-s as presented in the National Registration Center NRC, in June 2014. The survey evaluates not only the number of individual shareholders by JSC-s; sector and gender but also the value of the share capital owned.<p><\/p>\n<p>There are 7,819 individual shareholders in JSCs operating in the country. These individuals own a value of shares of 545,429,673 Euro. In 103 JSCs individuals are co-owners of the share capital together with legal entities that have different legal forms as JSC, Limited liabilities companies, Public Institutions, non-profit organizations, or international financial institutions. JSCs that are fully owned by individual shareholders have a total of 5,022 names of shareholders. On the other hand, 2,797 individual shareholders are distributed in the capital of JSC-s where they are co-owners together with legal entities.<p><\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"630\" height=\"371\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1qKh8x6dOy-N_iFXawE2BDszZlnlFa6bRqEXCuYrfh7Q\/pubchart?oid=1706753630&amp;format=interactive\"><\/iframe><br><sup>Data Source: National Registration Center<br>Comment and Analysis: ODA<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Table 1\/1 Individual shareholders are more active in the services sector. So they are present as owners in the capital of 473 JSCs. Thus, there are just 158 joint stock companies that have at least one female shareholder in a total of 847 JSC-s operating in the country. In these 158 JSCs there are 2567 female shareholders versus 5252 male shareholders dominators in 457 JSCs. The ratio of female shareholders to the total number of individual shareholders is 30.3%.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"630\" height=\"371\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1qKh8x6dOy-N_iFXawE2BDszZlnlFa6bRqEXCuYrfh7Q\/pubchart?oid=1242746541&amp;format=interactive\"><\/iframe><br><sup>Data Source: National Registration Center<br>Comment and Analysis: ODA<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>But this gender indicator is even more inferior if we calculate the weight of the capital owned by female shareholders versus the capital owned by male shareholders.
