The economic damage is an indicator that was taken out of audit reports of the Supreme State Control. In 2008, most of the damages were triggered in the sector of procurement, with ALL 21.3 million of damages due to violation of public procurement procedures. These damages were mainly caused&nbsp; as the result of non-payment of tax liabilities in the amount of ALL 14 million and irregularities in salary and bonuses amounting to ALL 6.87 million.<\/p>\n<p>In 2010 the total damages declined drasticallyby about 15 times lower than in 2008. ALL 2.78 million of identified damages mostly pertained to procurement sector with ALL 2.56 million and the rest to taxations- taxes. Economic damages amounted to ALL 15 million, which means about 8.7 times more than in 2011. Much of the damage amounting to ALL 6.4 million regards the city planning sectorand they were caused by a private company, which failed to paythe complete infrastructure impact tax. In the area of wages and bonuses the total damage is ALL 4.87 million, caused by the payment of overtime hours and payments for training abroad.
