During the 2009 electoral campaign, SP has spent 101,746,870 Leks. Total collected funds amount to 93,607,440 Leks, and the balance sheet for the 2009 electoral campaign records an excess of expenses equal to 8,139,430 Leks or 8% of the total expenses. The structure of funds benefited by the Socialist Party for the electoral campaign is fairly wide. Thus, the SP has collected for its electoral campaign a total amount of 93,607,440 Leks. Out of the total, the subject’s revenues from Public Funding in conformity with Article 87 of the Electoral Code amount to 13,693,204 Leks. In addition, the SP has collected 6,855,136 Leks through private donations. The party has drawn on its own funds for covering the electoral campaign expenses to a considerable extent (78% of its total funds), for a total amount of 73,059,100 Leks.

It is interesting to notice that 78% of donations benefited by the SP in the 2009 electoral campaign originated from donors with contributions higher than 100,000 Leks. 24% of the donations consisted in goods and in services (donations in kind), and a very small amount, only 30,000 Leks in total, originated from donors, whose contributions were less than 100,000 Leks.

The list of SP donors includes 16 subjects in total, nine of whom are legal entities and the rest are individuals. It is worth emphasizing that for the donations in kind, whose monetary worth exceeds the legal limit of 100,000 Leks, the donors? names are recorded as prescribed by the Electoral Code. The SP has five donors with donations in kind.
